How to Add a Footer Section to Your Assessments and Quizzes

Along with other custom sections and layouts, now you can add a footer to your assessments and quizzes.

A well-designed footer can provide important details and branding to your assessments and quizzes.

Even a simple footer can make a difference on the Wheel of Life template assessment.

Whether it’s for copyright notices, privacy policy, logos, or links, adding a footer section is quick and easy.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you customize the footer for your assessments and quizzes:

Step 1: Locate the Footer Section

Each new assessment you create automatically includes a default footer section. To add and customize it:

1. Go to the Start Page section on the left-hand side of your assessment.
2. Scroll down to find the Footer Section.

Step 2: Customize the Footer

Once you’ve located the footer section, you can begin personalizing it. Here are the options available:

Add Text

• Enter any text you want to display in the footer, such as copyright information (e.g., “© 2025 Your Company Name”). You can add hyperlinks here too. This is a rich text field so customize as needed.
• If you add links, be sure to specify to open in a new window.

Upload a Logo

• Add your brand logo by uploading an image.
• You can also include a URL that will make the logo clickable, directing users to your website or a specific page.

Set Background and Text Colors

• Customize the look and feel of your footer by selecting:
  • A background color to match your branding. Default is white.
  • A text color that ensures readability and complements the overall design.

Step 3: Make Footer Visible

After customizing the footer, don’t forget to check the box next to it so it’s visible. This ensures your footer is applied to your assessment or quiz and is visible to participants.

Your footer will automatically be visible on your start page, questions, and also the results page!
